Safety Overview
Safety is our #1 Priority at Western Wag. Training and education is taken very seriously by our staff.
Our in-house trainer will hold training sessions for our staff on safety procedures, within the Daycare and Boarding facility, once per month.
Each dog walker is hand-picked and trained by the owner of western wag, Molly rumpz. We want each walk to be a positive experience for both you, and your pet. we take many considerations, including the dogs health, age, and even the weather.
for example: Dog walkers will make a quick assessment and decide if a long walk is in order, or two short walks with water break in between, or maybe it’s just a potty break and indoor play.
Dog walkers are not permitted to use cell phones or any electronic device during walk time. Also no ear buds or headphones.
All dog walkers are supplied with and required to have on them at all times: a dog air horn, spray deterrent, and an extra leash in the event of an emergency situation. Dog walkers are held accountable by periodic safety checks.
